SupplyOne Inc., a distributor of custom corrugated and packaging solutions, said it has acquired Specialty Packaging, a provider of food and protective packaging products serving customers in the Northeast.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Specialty Packaging supplies films, trays, bags, and corrugated containers and provides packaging design, warehousing, and logistics services. The company serves customers in food and industrial markets.
The business was founded in 2012 by Chris Orsini and Keith Streib. Both will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.
SupplyOne said the deal expands its presence in the New England market and adds capabilities in food packaging solutions.
Specialty Packaging also developed SteamRight, a microwavable packaging technology designed to allow frozen foods to steam within the package.
SupplyOne, founded in 1998, distributes corrugated packaging, protective packaging materials, and related services to customers across multiple industries. The company has grown through acquisitions of regional packaging distributors and specialty providers.
